The Rochester Mural Festival is run on the blood, sweat and tears of a group of enthusiastic and passionate locals who love fostering connections in the community through the arts.

But the festival is about much more than just the art – each year we aim to promote inclusion, co-operation, health and wellbeing in our small community.

But we can’t do it without your help.

As we all know, the blood, sweat and tears of a few can only go so far.

If you’d love to get on board and help out in the community we are always looking for volunteers who can:

·       Prepare the mural boards

·       Help during the days of the festival, with tasks such as setting up and packing up each day.

.       Help Festival artists with their needs.

.       Make visitors to our Festival feel welcome.

.       Host an artist.

And of course, if you don’t have the time but would still love to contribute, financial donations (big or small!) go a long way to help us cover prizes, infrastructure and materials.

Each year we have needed around $20,000 to run the event.

·       A donation of $50 allows us to compensate one judge 

·       A donation of $100 allows us to purchase one paint colour

·       A donation of $1000 allows us to pay for half our mural boards
